The private deep residence near Munich is not built against a single threat, but against the full spectrum of conceivable — and inconceivable — dangers. From nuclear detonation to pandemics to the collapse of supply networks, every threat category is covered by its own, redundant protective systems. As a self-sufficient bunker, Statum Arcis remains independent of public power, water and communication infrastructure.

Layer Zero

The most effective defence is the one never sought out.

Before armoured gates, filtration stages and armed guards ever come into play, one layer acts that no technology can replace: inconspicuousness. Above the facility stands forest — no fence, no silhouette, no pattern that betrays a structure from the air. A target no one can locate is never attacked. Everything else on this page describes what happens should this first layer ever fail.

    Nuclear Threats

    Nuclear detonations, radioactive fallout and electromagnetic pulses (EMP) — the facility withstands the direct blast wave and filters all radioactive contamination from air and water.
